Oppo Air Glass, long range vision

"Everyone wants to use augmented reality because it has great potential, but the technology is not there yet, and it may appear in a few years," Xu said.

In the long term, Apple believes this type of device will eventually replace smartphones, according to company executives "within about a decade."
Oppo shares this belief.
Oppo is optimistic about the future of mixed reality, seeing it as the next computing platform after the smartphone.
"It has the potential to become a new computing platform," Xu Yi, XR CTO at Oppo, told CNBC.
