The Note 30 features a one-piece polycarbonate construction with a matte back panel. The bezel is polished to complement the design beautifully, while the massive camera body boasts a triple camera and flash. To the touch, the Note 30 weighs around 210g, which is a bit heavier than we'd like, and is 8.5mm thick. It offered a selection of Magic Black inks that are both visually appealing and resistant to fingerprints and tampering. Finally, the phone has JBL-tuned stereo speakers, a USB Type-C port on the bottom, and a fingerprint scanner on the side.
On the front of the phone is a large 6.78-inch LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and FHD+ resolution. The bezels around the bezel are a bit flimsy, especially around the chin, but the large screen size means there's plenty of room for viewing. There are no ultra-wide or macro cameras here, which are currently lacking compared to other similar phones. Background separation could be a little better for portraits. In terms of GPU performance, the device managed to hit 24fps on GFXBench Manhattan 3.1, but it can get a little warm.

While the user interface comes with some pre-installed apps and ads, users have the option to disable or uninstall these apps to enhance their personal experience.

The phone packs a 5,000mAh battery that supports 45W charging, and as far as battery life goes, the phone lasted around 13 hours in PCMark's battery test, which I think is acceptable.
