Black Techno Matters Set To Release Huge New 'F_X_M_X_L_Y V2' Compilation

Washington, D.C.-based record label Black Techno Matters has announced that it will kick off 2024 with a limited edition 64GB USB drive of its "F_X_M_X_L_Y v2" compilation.

The set is designed for more than 17 hours of music and includes 130 songs by 16 artists. The USB drive will also include archived posts and footage from previous Black Techno Matters events, two DJ sets and three sample sets. The track also hints at "other surprises" during its Bandcamp journey.

Fans include Adam 2, Blvksite, B_X_R_N_X_R_D, FUTURE DRUM CIRCLE, Jamal Dixon, Kotic Couture, MerlinBerlin, Outputmessage, Smoke & Tea and Trovarsi.

Each artist was given complete freedom to choose what they wanted to add to the USB folder, standard live compilations, sample packs, full EPs, and a wealth of archive and unreleased material.

There will be just 100 copies of the Black Techno Matters 'F_X_M_X_L_Y v2' USB stick, which "instantly elevates any DJ set", and is available for pre-order now, with shipping starting on 12th January 2024. A collection will also be published. It will be released digitally on Bandcamp on the same day.

Founded in 2019 by Bernard Farley, B_X_R_N_X_R_D, Black Techno Matters is a collective whose mission is to "reclaim techno as an expression of blackness in a society that oppressed it, and the black roots of black people in creating virtual and real life." Technique".
