The microsite announced that the Redmi 12 will be available for purchase on Amazon, Mi.com and Mi Home stores.
The Redmi 12 is touted as a sleek and stylish device with Bollywood actress Disha Patani chosen as the mobile ambassador for the Redmi line-up.
According to the microsite, the design of the smartphone will be made of crystal glass which gives it an elegant and sophisticated look. More information about the Redmi 12 will be published via the microsite in the coming days.

Redmi 12 specs expected
Redmi 12 sports a 6.79-inch FHD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The camera setup on the back includes a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor and a 2MP macro lens. For selfies, it has an 8 MP front camera. This smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Helio G88 chipset with the Mali-G52 2EEMC2 GPU. It offers 4GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of internal storage. It runs MIUI 14 based on Android 13 and packs a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging.
Expected price
In Thailand, the Redmi 12 is currently available in a 8GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration priced at TBH 5,299 or around Rs 12,600. Pricing for the Indian market will be announced at the launch on August 1. However, given the company's strategy, the phone should be presented as an affordable proposition.
