Vivo Y100 Will Debut In India With Attractive Specs
In 2023, Vivo is preparing a new foldable smartphone called Vivo X Flip and is also expected to launch Vivo X90 series in global markets. However, these devices are just a piece of cake! We are expecting more phones to arrive in the coming months and of course there are a lot of budget phones and mid-range phones among them! According to a new leak, the brand is all set to launch a new Vivo Y series phone in India. So far Vivo is yet to reveal the details but whistleblower Paras Gouglani has some details about this phone called Vivo Y100. It looks like a decent budget phone with the Dimension 900 SoC.
As per the source, Vivo will be launching its marketing campaign for the Vivo Y100 soon. The company's brand ambassador, Sarah Ali Khan, recently attended a taping of the phone's marketing materials. The Vivo Y100 will go on sale in India by the end of January.

It should be noted that the phone's characteristics are not a mystery. The Vivo Y100 passed the Geekbench test with the MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC. This SoC is getting older but still offers a decent level of performance even for gaming. The chip has Cortex-A78 cores for performance with a maximum speed of 2.4GHz, it will come with 8GB of RAM and we can expect up to 256GB of internal storage. The phone will run Funtouch OS 13. On Geekbench, it scored 710 in the single-core tests and 2116 in the multi-core section.
The Vivo Y100 moniker for the phone has been confirmed by the Google Play Console along with the model number. The listing also confirms the Full HD+ display with a larger screen. The phone has also been approved by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) which is basically a mandatory step to launch in the country. We expect Vivo to launch its marketing campaign very soon.
