Realme Now Has The Fastestcharging Phone In The World
If you had to guess who has the fastest charging in the world, would you choose Realme?
Sounds like a pretty hefty bet actually. Although companies like Realme, Oppo and others are not the most popular brands in the world, they always lead the way by being among the first to incorporate modern technology into their smartphones. The company has just launched the GT Neo 5 with the latest and greatest charging technology.
As GSMArena reported, Realme today unveiled the GT Neo 5, the company's new flagship phone with charging speeds of up to 240W, making it the world's fastest charging smartphone. According to the report, the 240W variant of the phone can charge from 0 to 50% in 4 minutes and up to 100% in 10 minutes.
You can charge your phone from a fully charged battery in about the time it takes to check MKBHD's review of the new HomePod (10 minutes and 3 seconds, btw. If you don't need to charge the battery. The phone is that fast, the company has released a version of the phone that charges at 150W).
The phone also works with older VOOC and SuperVOOC chargers, which can deliver full power to your smartphone through the USB-C port.
Along with impressive charging speeds, the GT Neo 5 features a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, up to 16GB of RAM, and up to 1TB of storage. It has a 6.74-inch 10-bit AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and up to 4600mAh battery. The camera system includes a 50 MP main camera, an 8 MP ultra-wide camera, a 2 MP macro camera, and a 16 MP selfie camera.
Realme GT Neo 5 is now available (in China) in white, black and purple colors.
