Mulanje businesswoman Martha Kunkeyani has won the grand prize for the Etel/Techno Malawi Christmas Promotion 2022.

Kunkeyani bought a Tecno Camon 19 smartphone to participate in the Christmas promotion.
During the campaign, which started on November 20 and ended on December 25, other consumers won various prizes, including fridges, televisions, stoves and shopping vouchers.
The only requirement to participate in this promotion is to purchase an Etel or Techno smartphone at any store in Malawi
Speaking in an interview after receiving the award, Kunkeyani said that he was very happy and attributed his success to God. He did not expect to win the highest prize in the campaign, but said that God helped him.
“When they called me I was so happy that I won the car, I thought it was a scam so I didn't take it seriously, but thank God it's true. I will continue to use Techno products not because I won this award but because they are good.
Kunkeyani said he has no intention of selling the car, but will use it as a vehicle for his business.
