When I met Realme in 2019 with its Realme 5 Pro, I was very impressed with the brand and its smartphone. My Realme 5 Pro, which was their last mid-range phone at the time, was a very solid companion with a great camera, smooth performance, and long battery life.

So when I upgraded my phone, I went with one brand and chose Realme 9 Pro+. Like my Realme 5 Pro, my Realme 9 Pro + was also very reliable and turned out to be a great phone.

So far I have only tried mid range phones from this brand. But lately I've been using the Realme C33 (P7499) as my second phone, mainly for work.

The phone was launched in the Philippines on 14th October 2022. For the price, the phone is definitely worth it.

Realme C33 features an ultra-thin 8.3mm body and a 6.5-inch HD+ LCD display. I find the phone to be lightweight and a way to fit in the palm of my hand. Very neat.

The phone is also equipped with Unisoc T612 processor. It gave me a smooth experience even though it was just an entry level phone. I managed to catch up with the office apps and didn't experience any major issues while using the phone.

Realme C33 is also equipped with Mali-G57 GPU, and it provides a very smooth and enjoyable gaming experience. Even though I'm not a big gamer, I was able to play games on my phone. Although the phone did get a little hot while running, I didn't notice any lag.

I think what I really love about the C33, or any Realme smartphone in general, is its long battery life. Equipped with a 5000 mAh battery, the smartphone lasts more than a day. I used the phone mostly for work, browsing the web, watching YouTube videos, listening to music and playing games for a few minutes. However, it took a while for the phone to charge. I waited about 30 minutes or so for it to fully start up.

Meanwhile, I was most impressed with the phone's camera. The phone has a 50MP AI camera that allows me to take clear pictures. I think the colors in the photo were very vibrant. The food photos I took looked delicious.

The phone also has 4GB + 64GB RAM and storage. The storage itself is also impressive, especially if the phone is only used for work.

Overall, I consider the Realme C33 a solid entry-level phone. Priced at 7,499 pesos for the 4GB + 64GB storage option, the phone performs well and has good graphics and long battery life. If you are looking for a reliable and affordable phone, the C33 will perfectly meet these needs. RDL
