Realme 11 Pro In For Review

Realme 11 Pro and Realme 11 Pro+, which were launched in China a month ago, went on sale internationally yesterday. Our Realme 11 Pro+ review is now done, so let's now focus on the Realme 11 Pro.

The Realme 11 Pro comes in the same yellow retail box as the Pro+ model, and the contents of the box are the same, except that the Realme 11 Pro comes with an 80W SuperVOOC charger instead of the 100W GaN charger that the Pro+ gets . Realme did not include images of its new brand ambassador for the smartphone category, Shah Rukh Khan, on the retail packaging, as it did with Salman Khan, who is the brand ambassador for the Realme 6 series in India. After all, not everyone likes it.

Realme 11 Pro is based on a 6.7-inch 120Hz FullHD+ AMOLED display with HDR10+ support and a maximum brightness of 950 nits. The screen is protected by Dragontrail glass and has a center hole for the 16MP selfie camera (the Pro+ has a 32MP unit). Fingerprint reader for biometric authentication.

If you rotate the phone, you will see a large circular camera module with an LED flash and two cameras: a 100 MP main camera (with OIS) and a 2 MP macro camera. Realme removed the 8MP ultra-wide unit from the Pro+ model, which we didn't like. If the brand really wanted two rear cameras on the Pro version, they could have opted for an ultra-wide device with autofocus to enable macro shooting, but we believe Realme made the deal as a cost-cutting measure.

Like the Pro+, the Realme 11 Pro is available in three color options: Astral Black, Sunrise Beige and Oasis Green. We chose the Sunrise Beige model, which, like the Oasis Green version, has a lychee leather design on the back, which not only gives it a high-quality and expensive look, but also improves grip through the making the panel fingerprint resistant.

The leather version holds up well. However, this is not the first time that Realme has released a smartphone with skin support. In 2020, Realme launched the Realme 7 Pro SE Sun Kissed Skin, which has a similar back feel with a metallic Realme logo to the Realme 11 Pro and Pro+.

The Realme 11 Pro is identical to the Realme 11 Pro+, and you won't be able to tell them apart at first glance. That's not to say the two phones are indistinguishable. The Pro model's camera module says 100MP OIS Camera, while the Pro+ says 200MP OIS Camera. Moreover, both smartphones have different rear camera setups.

Under the hood, the Realme 11 Pro packs a Dimensity 7050 SoC with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It packs a 5,000mAh battery with 67W charging support and runs Realme UI 4.0 based on Android 13. Realme has promised two years of Android version updates and three years of Pro and Pro+ security updates. It's also worth noting that the Realme 11 Pro and Pro+ come pre-installed with a few third-party apps, but luckily most of them can be uninstalled if you want.

We will soon start testing the Realme 11 Pro. In the meantime, you can read our Realme 11 Pro+ review. It's basically the Realme 11 Pro with a 200MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, a 32MP selfie shooter and 100W charging.
