Global Huawei Mate 50 Pro Model Announced With Powerful XMAGE Camera Setup

Huawei announced its new flagship Mate 50 Pro in China earlier this month. Today follows the global launch of the Huawei Mate 50 Pro as Huawei has shared the details.

It is almost identical to the Chinese model in terms of design and specifications. However, there are some differences. This version does not have the satellite text feature, which is only available in China, at least for now.

It presents "Cosmic Ring Design" and "Safe Kunlun Glass".

The Mate 50 Pro has what Huawei calls a "symmetrical space ring design". It has a curved screen and "Strong Kunlun Glass" on the screen. According to Huawei, this glass increases drop resistance by 10 times.

Huawei has also introduced the world's first 10-stop adjustable physical aperture to its XMAGE cameras.

One of the more interesting aspects of the device is the Ultra Aperture XMAGE camera system on the back. You get the world's first 10-stop adjustable physical aperture. The phone is IP68 certified for water and dust resistance and comes with EMUI 13 as standard. Google Services is not included, of course, but Huawei Services (HMS) is already preinstalled. The phone packs a 4,700mAh battery and supports Huawei SuperCharge 66W wireless charging as well as 50W wireless charging (also known as Huawei SuperCharge).

The model with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage comes in black and silver, this is the Glass model. Its price is 1299 euros. The model with 8 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage is available in a vegan leather version and costs 1399 euros in Europe.
