IQOO Z6 Lite Vs POCO M5 Vs Redmi 11 Prime 5G: Performance Comparison
iQOO launched its new smartphone in an affordable segment called iQOO Z6 Lite, and one of the highlights of this new device is that it is the first device to feature Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 processor. While iQOO has focused on the affordable flagship segment, it has quietly introduced competitive devices into the mid-range markets. and budget markets. The iQOO Z6 Lite is priced at Rs 13,999 and competes with POCO and Xiaomi. So how good is the Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 chipset? I've paired it with the iQOO Z6 Lite POCO M5 and the Redmi 11 Prime 5G (review), both of which have different chipsets at the same cost. Let's see who comes out on top in this benchmarking and performance comparison.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 is a 6nm chipset with Kryo Prime Cortex A78 cores clocked at 2.0GHz for performance concerns. In terms of performance, there are six Cortex A55 cores clocked at 1.8GHz. The POCO M5 comes with the latest Helio G99 SoC from MediaTek, which also uses 6nm fabrication. For performance, it uses two Cortex A76 processors clocked at 2.2 GHz, while for less demanding tasks six Cortex A55 cores, usually clocked at 2.0 GHz. Finally, there's the Dimensity 700, which has the same six performance cores as the Helio G99, but is based on a 7nm process.
Geekbench 5By comparing the results of the popular benchmark application Geekbench 5, we can see that there is very little to distinguish between the three devices. Powered by a Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 chip, the iQOO Z6 Lite scored 621 and 1,854 in the single-core and multi-core tests, respectively. The Redmi 11 Prime 5G and Dimensity 700 are slightly lower at 556 and 1742, while the G99 POCO M5 scores 552 and 1916. The only real difference worth noting is that the multi-core M5 performs 10 percent higher than that of the Redmi. 11 major 5G. Compared to iQOO Z6 Lite, all phones have almost the same result. In real use, all devices work the same way.
Antutu V9.4Antutu test looks at smartphone performance indicators in more detail and provides the overall score. The iQOO Z6 Lite has the highest CPU and GPU score out of the three phones with a total of 385,019 scores. However, the UX score is the lowest at 68,007, and the Redmi 11 Prime 5G scored 385,734. percent ahead of the POCO M5. All phones experienced the same battery drain and overheating during testing. This is further evidence to support the Geekbench 5 results, which show that all three phones perform similarly in real-world use.
throttle handlerSmartphones are prone to falling under constant load, so it is important to evaluate the maximum performance of the device. This useful tool is a CPU throttle tester that runs 20 threads at 30 minute intervals. Running it on all three devices gave the same results as the above tests. The iQOO Z6 Lite drops to 92 percent of peak performance, while the POCO M5 drops to 87 percent. The peak performance of the Redmi 11 Prime 5G drops to 89 percent, which indicates that all three smartphones can maintain the same processing power under load.
3DMark Wild Life Stress TestTo check the CPU Throttle benchmark results, I ran the 3DMark Wild Life Stress Test, which uses a graphics processing unit (GPU) on my chipset. Again, the results were close, with the iQOO Z6 Lite achieving a stable score of 99.1%, while the M4 and Redmi 11 Prime 5G scored 99.6 and 97.3%, respectively. However, POCO M4 has the highest knot at 1247 while iQOO Z6 Lite has the lowest knot at 1044. But the differences are too small to affect actual usage.
New PUBG Status TestAfter BGMI was banned, PUBG New State became the new benchmark for performance testing in games. I ran all three devices at the highest possible graphics and frame rate settings. Both Redmi 11 Prime 5G and POCO M5 are capable of running games at high frame rates (60fps) and great graphics. However, iQOO Z6 Lite can run the maximum frame rate on Lite graphics only. For consistency, these are the settings I had on the three phones, and here are the results. The Redmi 11 Prime 5G managed to work for 30 minutes, leaving the battery at 8% and heating up to 10 degrees. For the POCO M5, the same numbers are nine percent and 11 degrees. The iQOO Z6 Lite is a little stronger: the temperature rises by 13 degrees and you lose 12 percent of the battery.
Final verdictYou can see from this test that there is very little to separate the three devices when it comes to daily performance metrics. All three smartphones had similar scores in the tests, so no significant difference was found. However, when it comes to gaming, the POCO M5 and Redmi 11 Prime 5G will suit you better than the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 SoC than the iQOO Z6 Lite.
