Tecno Pova 6 Pro 5G Set To Debut At MWC 2024 With Dolby Atmos Support
The Tecno Pova 6 Pro 5G has been confirmed to be launched at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024 in Barcelona at the end of February. The device will be launched as the first smartphone in the Pova 6 series and will be the first Tecno device to support Dolby Atmos surround sound. Tecno Pova 6 Pro 5G is the successor to last year's Tecno Pova 5 Pro. The latter is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6080 SoC and offers 68W fast charging support. It has a 120Hz refresh rate display and a dual rear camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor.
Tecno announced in a press release on Monday (January 29) that the Tecno Pova 6 Pro 5G will be launched globally at MWC 2024 in Barcelona. The event is scheduled to take place from February 26 to 29. The latest smartphone in the Pova series will support Dolby Atmos, a subsidiary of Transition Holdings, for the first time.
In a press release, Tecno has signed a collaboration agreement with Dolby Laboratories to bring Dolby Atmos support to its Pova 6 series smartphones. It was recently confirmed that the unknown Pova, Camon and Phantom series smartphones will have Dolby Atmos audio support as part of the collaboration. . “The collaboration offers Tecno users around the world stunning Dolby Atmos surround sound that they can experience all around them, showcasing depth, clarity and detail like never before,” Tecno said.
Tecno Pova 6 Pro 5G will be launched as the successor to Tecno Pova 5 Pro. The latter was launched in August last year at a price of Rs. 14,999 for the base 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant.
It features a 6.78-inch Full-HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6080 chipset. The Tecno Pova 5 Pro features a dual rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor and an AI lens. It features a 16-megapixel front camera and a 5,000mAh battery with support for 68W fast charging.
