It has been confirmed that the Redmi Note 13 series will arrive in China soon. The lineup is expected to include the Redmi Note 13, Redmi Note 13 Pro, and Redmi Note 13 Pro+ models. The phones are expected to follow the Redmi Note 12 smartphone series launched earlier this year. Some details about the upcoming phones and models have been leaked by Xiaomi. Now the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has announced the official release date of the Redmi brand phones.
In a post on Weibo, Xiaomi announced that the Redmi Note 13 series will launch in China on September 21 at 7pm local time. The Redmi Note 13 Pro models were shown with a 200-megapixel rear camera. The Note 13 Pro+ will be powered by a 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7200-Ultra processor.
The high-end model is confirmed to feature a custom 200-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL HP3 Discovery Edition camera sensor, which is said to be the same 200-megapixel sensor used in the previous Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G.
In addition to the main sensor, the phones can have an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor and a 2-megapixel macro camera with LED flash and a 16-megapixel front camera. As mentioned above, the phones are expected to be the successors of the Redmi Note 12, Redmi Note 12 Pro, and Redmi Note 12 Pro+.
The Pro and Pro+ models were recently spotted on the TENAA certification site. The models are expected to feature a 6.67-inch OLED display and a 120Hz refresh rate. The phones are said to offer 5G connectivity.
While the Redmi Note 13 Pro packs up to 16GB of RAM, the flagship Pro+ model is expected to have 18GB of RAM. The phones are expected to pack a 5,020mAh and 4,880mAh battery respectively.
