Realme 12+ 5G Reportedly Spotted On TENAA Certification Site; Key Specifications Listed
Realme 12+ 5G is expected to launch soon. This phone has been spotted on several certification sites. The listings so far hint at some of the phone's key specifications and possible designs. A new report claims that the alleged phone has been spotted by TENAA, indicating an imminent launch. The list shares specifications including SoC, RAM, storage, and display details. It is worth noting that the Realme 12 series models recently launched in India include the Realme 12 Pro 5G and Realme 12 Pro+ 5G.
Realme 12+ 5G with model number RMX3866 has been spotted on certification site TENAA, MySmartPrice reports that the phone may feature a 6.7-inch full HD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) AMOLED display with a hole-punch cutout. Cut According to the listing, the phone may be powered by an octa-core chipset clocked at 2.6 GHz. Although the exact SoC is not mentioned, depending on the frequency, it could be the MediaTek Dimensity 1080 found in models like the Redmi Note. 12 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G.
The report adds that the Realme 12+ 5G could come in 6GB, 8GB, 12GB, and 16GB RAM options along with 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB internal storage options. The listing also claims that the phone will have a triple rear camera setup that could include a 50-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. However, the front camera should have a 16 megapixel sensor.
Further, the report claims that the global variants of Realme 12+ 5G may carry model numbers RMX3867 and RMX3668. This variant is expected to have a dual rear camera with a 64 megapixel main sensor and an 8 megapixel sensor. The model appears on the BIS India website with model number RMX38667.
The Realme 12+ 5G is expected to include a nominal 4880mAh battery, which can be classified as a normal 5000mAh battery. The phone measures 162.95mm x 75.45mm x 7.87mm and weighs 190 grams. The phone's design appeared earlier on the list. It is expected to have a large circular rear camera module similar to the one seen on the Realme 12 Pro model.
Offered in Navigator Beige, Submarine Blue, and Explorer Red color options, Realme 12 Pro+ 5G price in India starts at Rs. 29,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant, while the 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB RAM and storage configurations are priced at Rs. 31,999 and Rp. 33,999 each. Meanwhile, the Realme 12 Pro 5G is only available in Navigator Beige and Submarine Blue. Available in countries Rs. 25,999 and Rp. 26,999 for the 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB variants respectively.
