The Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 is an impressive book-shaped folding phone that you'll never see in the US.

Flip phone options first expanded in the U.S. this summer, but these types of phones have been available overseas for several years. If you're wondering what Android users overseas can expect, Xiaomi has started taking pre-orders for the Mix Fold 3 starting at CNY 8,999 for the 12GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. That's about $1,236. That's still cheaper than what Samsung and Google are paying for their foldable devices.
