Infinix GT 10 Pro Series Design Revealed Ahead Of Launch, Appears Similar To Nothing Phone 2
The Infinix GT 10 Pro series is expected to launch in India soon. The phone maker has previously teased that the phone will have a rear panel design similar to the Nothing Phone 2 with an LED strip. Now, the company has unveiled the design of the two models in the series ahead of their debut. The offer is expected to include the Infinix GT 10 Pro model and the Infinix GT 10 Pro+ model. The Nothing Phone 2 was launched in India on July 11 and went on sale for the first time in India on Friday.
The design, which Infinix revealed ahead of the launch, includes an "interactive lighting interface" where small LED strips are placed next to the cameras in a rectangular cam. Reminiscent of the Glyph Nothing Phone interface, LED panels on the back of phones alert users to certain messages and alerts.
According to Infinix, the lights will turn on when a game is launched on the phone, for various notifications and to indicate the charging status of the phone.
Earlier, Nothing CEO Carl Pei reacted to the news that Infinix plans to release a GT series phone inspired by the Nothing Phone 2, "time to train lawyers!" with laughing emoticons. It was also recently revealed that the upcoming Tecno Pova smartphone will have an LED strip on the back and will run software called Arc Interface.
According to a previous report, the GT 10 Pro series will feature Full HD+ displays, 108MP triple rear cameras paired with a 32MP selfie camera, and 5,000mAh batteries. The GT 10 Pro is expected to run on the MediaTek Dimensity 1300 SoC, while the GT 10 Pro+ is expected to run on the MediaTek Dimensity 8050 SoC. Both models will run XOS 13 based on Android 13.
The company has referred to the integrated functionality of the LED lighting panel as a "cyber network design". According to a press release, the GT 10 series models will be available in two color options: cyber black and mirage silver. The CyberBlack model has a bright orange back, while the Mirage Silver variant has a color-changing display that reflects steel blue and dust pink when exposed to UV light, the company said.
Earlier reports indicated that the company is likely to launch the series globally in August, although the Indian market is expected to receive only the Infinix GT 10 Pro model.
