Denver Weekend Guide: House And Techno Festival, Ice Cube, Sneaker Con
Here are the weekend's must-see events.
1. 🎹 Recreate the holiday
With a total of 21 events, the revamped festival takes place Saturday at City Center Park.
Why it matters: Regeneration is Denver's first and largest music event. Between Reinvention, 4/20 and more holidays coming up later this year, Civic Center Park has become just what residents have been waiting for: a serious concert venue.
The headliners are Diplo, Camelpat, Mala, Sohmi, Charlotte De Witt and Mastery. Tickets

- Be careful: remember to get wet. Only empty plastic water bottles are allowed in the festival, but there are free water stations.
2. “Avalanche vs. Kraken: Game Two.”
Game 2 of the Western Conference between the Avalanche and the Seattle Kraken takes place Thursday night at 7:30 at the ballpark. Tickets

3. 🧚♀ Tulip and Fairy Festival
Come for the fairy queen, stay for the tulips. Head to Boulder's Pearl Street Mall on Sunday from 1-5pm for games, live music and afternoon parades. The details
4. 🎤 Ice Cube (featuring Westside Boogie)
Rap legend Ice Cube performs Friday night at Mission Hall with Compton rapper Westside Boogie. Tickets
5. ⚽️ Colorado Rapids vs. Street. Louis City
The Rapids host the top club in the Western Conference at Dick's Sporting Goods Park this Saturday at 7:30 p.m. Tickets
6. 🖼 "Spring Awakening" show.
Check out Bitfactory Gallery's new exhibit, "Spring Awakening," featuring works by Colorado artists from Cherry Creek Art Gallery. The public is invited to an opening reception Friday from 6 to 9 p.m.
7. 🕺 Red Bull Dance your Denver style
Dancers from all over the area enjoy performing their skills in individual competitions judged by the public. Doors open at 17:00 on Saturday. The winner will represent Denver at the Red Bull Dance Your Style National Finals on May 20 in Chicago.
8. 🦐 I cook shrimp in Littleton.
Bring the old bay and butter to Living The Dream Brewing. The crab boil runs Saturdays from noon to 8 p.m. Tickets
9. 👟 Denver sneakers
Catch the biggest sneaker event of the year at the Colorado Convention Center this Saturday from noon to 7 p.m. Attendees can find rare sneakers, meet influencers, play sneaker trivia, and buy, sell, and trade sneakers and streetwear from over 200 vendors. Tickets

🍽 April 29: The Big Stir Festival celebrates philanthropy, diversity, sustainability and women who have won in the hospitality industry. Enjoy food, wine and spirits from 30 different vendors from 2-5pm in the Turnhalle at Tivoli Center on the Auraia campus in downtown Denver. Tickets
May 6-7: Live music, food and parades return to Civic Center Park for the Cinco de Mayo Festival.
