Realme GT Neo 5 With 240W Fast Charging Launched; Check Out The Details Here!

In early January, Realme announced its 240W fast charging technology and announced that the GT Neo 5 would be the first phone to support this amazing charging speed. Well, the Realme GT Neo 5 launched in China today and you can fully charge the battery in less than 10 minutes, which is crazy! Loading speed aside, there are many notable features here like LED notification light, Snapdragon flagship chipset, 50MP camera system, and more. Let's see all the details here:
Let's talk about the main features first and then take a look at the basic specifications. Ever since the Realme GT Neo 5 was teased, everyone has been curious about the LED light on the back. While the back here may look like high-end Android phones, Realme says it 's inspired by the transparent bezels found on gaming phones like the Red Magic 8 Pro and others .
The metal island of the room extends into clear glass on the right. This shows off the Snapdragon chipset surrounded by the new Halo RGB lighting system. Unlike Nothing Phone (1), which only has white LEDs, Realme offers massive customization options. You are free to choose 25 colors, 5 speed settings and more . RGB lights are included not only for notifications (messages, calls, etc.), but also during gameplay.
Realme also spoke extensively about the premium design of the GT Neo 5, where you can choose between three color variants: white, black and purple. The Purple variant uses an industry-first matte fusion process to deliver a textured glass back panel. The camera island houses a 50 MP main camera with a Sony IMX890 sensor and OIS. It is paired with an 8 MP wide-angle camera (Sony IMX355) and a 2 MP telescopic lens. There is a 16 MP selfie camera on the front.
Speaking of the main features of the Realme GT Neo 5, it comes with a 4,600mAh battery that supports 240W fast charging, as crazy as it may sound. Realme promises to charge your phone from 1% to 20% in 80 seconds, to 50% in 4 minutes and fully charge in 9 minutes . This is the highest charging speed supported on a USB-C port. The company has also introduced a slower 150W variant that has a 5,000mAh battery and fully charges in 16 minutes.
Under the hood, the Realme GT Neo 5 is powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 , just like the recently launched OnePlus 11R. It features 16GB RAM, 1TB storage, 4500mm² VC with 3D cooling and runs Realme UI 4.0 based on Android 13.
Finally, turning to the front, we get a 6.7-inch, 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, 2160Hz PWM dimming, 2772x1240 resolution and 1400 brightness nits The phone also supports an in-display fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers compatible with Dolby Atmos, and more.
