The awesome Lego Optimus Prime from Transformers is on sale for $144 at Macy's as part of the retailer's Valentine's Day promotion. The regular 20% discount is $180, and it was the best price we saw on Black Friday last year, so now is a great time to score the 1,508-piece set. As a bonus you will receive a voucher for 50% off a box of chocolates. This means you can give him the chocolate and keep Optimus Prime for yourself. The deal is technically valid until February 15, but Macy's calls the Autobot leader "short supply."

What sets this Lego apart from many other licensed sets of this size is that it has a certain level of interactivity. While you won't have to strike dynamic poses, you can carefully customize Optimus' limbs, equip him with his signature ion blaster, and even replace his hands with the iconic Energon axe.
The real magic here is that Optimus can transform into his signature truck mode, easily transforming from Autobot commander to a hulking machine ready to go. But before that the fun begins: from 10 bags with hundreds of cubes, it will only take you three hours to assemble everyone's favorite Cybertronian.
When finished, you'll have an exact Lego-style replica of Optimus Prime, with just a few studs visible.
Many other Lego sets are on sale for 20% off at Macy's through Valentine's Day, and everyone has a chance to get a pound of chocolate for 50% off.
