  • Samsung Galaxy Fit 3 name confirmed in Bluetooth SIG listing.
  • The listing also confirms that the model number is SM-R390 and that it supports Bluetooth 5.3.
  • We might launch this device soon, perhaps in January along with the Galaxy S24 series.

It's been more than three years since Samsung released a fitness tracker. We are now confident that a new model called Samsung Galaxy Fit 3 is on the way.

Thanks to inclusion in the Bluetooth SIG database, we've now seen an official use of the Galaxy Fit 3 name. We can also confirm a few other details about the upcoming tracker, such as the model number (SM-R390) and the fact that it will support Bluetooth 5.3. Previously there were rumors about both sides of the tracker, but now we know for sure.

Since the Bluetooth SIG database (of course) focuses primarily on Bluetooth connectivity, there's not much to be gleaned from the list. However, GIS entries almost always arrive at the start time. Therefore, it can be assumed that the Galaxy Fit 3 will hit the market in the coming weeks or months.

With the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S24 just a month away, we might also see the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Fit 3 alongside this new flagship phone. However, it's also possible that Samsung will keep this release exclusive to the phone and release the Fit 3 with a simple press release before or after the event. Time will show.

We've seen leaked images of the Galaxy Fit 3 which you can see at the link. Renderings suggest that the device will have a much larger AMOLED display than the one we saw on the Fit 2 and original Galaxy Fit.
