This energetic four-part documentary from director Olivier Richard takes a fascinating and personal approach to explore the underground techno music scenes in both Taiwan and China , following various DJs and searching for the key to community revitalization. "BPM ECSTASY" will premiere on the TaiwanPlus Docs YouTube channel. on November 11 , followed by ARTE's YouTube channel, website and social networks on November 14 for European audiences.
BPM ECSTASY explores the erstwhile tech communities of Taipei and Beijing , offering an intimate look at the subculture, behind the scenes of DJing in a post-pandemic world. The series follows famous DJs such as SUNK, tamiX and Elvis. T and more reveal the overall story.
The series connects unique subcultures while promoting a sense of international unity.
