Melodic Techno Playlist Takeover | Mathame For Future Rave
Despite the difference of 12 years, the brothers Matteo and Amedio Giovanelli are always close.
His parents grew up in a home filled with music and ran a pirate radio station in Italy. Later, when the family moved into Etna's shadow, Mateo and Amedeo were inspired by the place. It was then that Matme was born.
Publishing about spirituality, love, human isolation in the wider universe and of course the bond between two brothers brings the power of the interstellar scale to life.
Early productions including Skywalking and Nothing Around Us were picked up by Tale Of Us and Matthews was soon invited to join Afterlife, finding a home at both the label and international parties. The duo has already performed in Ibiza this summer.
On June 30, the duo released their debut album MEMO via Astralwerks. Matteo and Amedeo only picked pieces when we gave them our lead.

Matame feat. little black | Unreal | Astral works
"What you're going to hear today is the first version of The Truth. It's one of the first songs we wrote for the album. We played this track late at night and it has that spooky nighttime vibe.
Matame with Laka | Who | Astral works
When we recorded the track in seaside Mykonos over the summer, there was a lot of inspiration around us. It's an intimate track and we want the listener to feel the lyrics we wrote with Like.
