Today, in a public statement and video, his family announced the death of Minecraft game maker and content creator Technoblade after a long battle with stage four cancer.

Tekno previously announced that he was diagnosed with cancer last August and regularly updates his community on his condition by undergoing treatment and creating content on YouTube.

In a video released on June 30, Techno's father shared his latest posthumous message titled "So Long Nerd" written on such an occasion. It was full of sarcastic and often dark humor, but it was a final "thank you" to those who have supported the Minecraft star over the years.

“Thank you to everyone who has supported my content over the years. If I had 100 lives left, I would probably choose to be Technoblade every time. Because those were the happiest years of my life,” said Techno.

I hope you enjoyed my content and made some of you laugh. I wish you all a long, prosperous and happy life because I love you. Technoblade is out.

In his post, Tekno, who reveals his real name is Alex, tells how last year's rally and other "sold out" promotions are being used to send his siblings off to college if they wish. Going there, it is my pleasure to give her thanks to the audience, as the screen displays a slideshow of photos showing her at various points in her treatment.

According to Techno's latest post, his father describes how he wanted to write and record the video before his death, but health problems and other factors prevented that. According to his father, he wrote the letter from his bed and died about eight hours later.

"He was the most wonderful child anyone could dream of," Technoblad's father said. “I miss Technoblade. Thank you all for everything. You mean so much to him.”

The Technoblade family will continue to operate their merchandise shop and will give all proceeds from orders to their chosen charity, the Sarcoma Foundation of America, as they work to "spread their message." This includes, in the Taccoblade fashion of all time, releasing a "crazy way too long" compilation to celebrate his life.
