Meat Loaf, Who Reportedly Died From COVID: 'If I Die, I Die'
Rock star Meat Loaf reportedly contracted COVID-19 a week before his death on Thursday.
While the official cause of Marvin Lee Ady's death has not been released, TMZ reported Friday that the "Two Out of Three Ain't Bad" singer had to cancel a business dinner. . this week after becoming "very sick with COVID."
Last year, the 74-year-old artist said that although she was "deathly afraid" of getting sick, she hugged "people with COVID" and felt better about dying from the disease.

In an August interview with The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, the star said he was compliant with COVID-19 guidelines.
“I understand that life has stopped temporarily, but they can't keep stopping it because of politics. Even now they are standing because of politics,” he said.
The father of two also said he has known for six months that "the masks we all wear are useless."
"They haven't done anything. They don't prevent COVID. It just irritates him, his nose itches and he can't breathe," he said, adding that the only "good mask" is an N95.
He also complained about “Nazi” pilots who ordered him to wear a mask during the flight, saying they were “power crazy now”.
After the interviewer replied: "We were all controlled," the rocker agreed: "Yes, I know. But not me. If I die, I will die, but I won't be controlled."
According to TMZ, sources said his health worsened after contracting the coronavirus. The site also said the headline was against COVID-19 vaccine orders in Australia.
It is unclear whether he has been vaccinated against the deadly virus.
Meat Loaf representatives did not respond to requests for comment.
