Tecno Pop 7 Spotted On Multiple Certification Websites With Unisoc SoC, Android 12 Go Edition
The Tecno Pop 7 has been spotted on several verification sites, suggesting that the company's next entry-level smartphone will be launched soon. The Chinese smartphone maker launched the Techno Pop 7 Pro last month. The alleged Tecno Pop 7 can be slotted under the Tecno Pop 7 Pro in terms of specs and price. The upcoming entry-level phone has been spotted on a certification website that reveals the basic design and specifications of the phone ahead of its planned launch.
Techno Pop 7 listing revealed by PriceBaba on Google Play Console. The specifications reveal that the Techno Pop 7 smartphone will come with an HD+ display (720 x 1600 pixels). According to the Google Play Console listing, the phone is powered by a Unisoc SC9863A chip, 2GB of RAM, and runs Android 12 (Go edition).
Compared to the Tecno Pop 7 Pro that the company launched in February, this smartphone seems to offer weaker specs. The Pro phone is powered by a quad-core MediaTek Helio A22 chip with 3GB of RAM and runs Android 12.
The phone has also been spotted in the United States Federal Communications Commission database, revealing a glimpse of the future phone's design. The design of the Techno Pop 7 suggests that the entry-level phone will have a teardrop display. The rounded rectangular camera module at the back houses a dual-camera setup, LED flash, and a fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication.
The FCC listing also revealed that the Tecno Pop 7 measures 164x74x8mm. Depending on the size, the phone screen can be more than 6 inches. The phone is expected to have 64GB of internal storage and support for 10W wired charging.
But it is to be noted that Tecno has not given any official confirmation regarding Tecno Pop 7 specifications, price and launch plan.
