Pune, Feb 25 (IANS) Grammy-winning electronic music duo Bob Moses performed for the first time in India at Vh1's Supersonic Music Festival. Artists explore why techno music never goes out of style, as they say, "people like to have fun."

Bob Moses is a Canadian electronic duo. Formed in New York, the band consists of Tom Howie and Jimmy Vallance. The RAC remix of "Tearing Me Up" won a Grammy Award for Best Non-Classical Remix Recording.

Thousands of people gathered here on Friday afternoon to dig the ground. Wherever the music goes, techno or electronic music remains popular with everyone.

Asked why these types of films are becoming more popular, Jamie told IANS: "I think what people need to understand is this hidden culture and then the passion builds. It's not common, but the club culture is really fun. And how to be you can spend the whole night and chat with your friends.

Later, Tom and Jimmy added together: "People like to have fun."

They also know Bollywood.

The old stuff (70s and 80s) has this amazing sound, now it's distorted, but the recording sounds amazing. I don't know much about modern bollywood music but it sounds like high tech but old classical music. We have a friend in New York who has a great collection of Bollywood movies and he came and played with us.

They are also "inspired" by the track.

"We were inspired by something we heard and used in one of our songs."

Speaking about the performance in India, Tom said: “It was amazing, great energy, very enthusiastic and a very welcoming crowd.

He added: "This is the first time we are playing in India and we will play two more times. Tomorrow we will go to Delhi and the day after that we will go to Goa. Then we will go home and hopefully at the end of this year."

Jamie added: "We need more time in India!"
