Vivo Teases V27 Design, Says The Phones Are Coming Soon
Vivo confirmed the existence of the V27 series, but left the launch date unclear. The phones will soon be available in India and will be sold through Flipkart, which already has a landing page (which can also be found on vivo.com).
The announcement is accompanied by several images that show the upcoming phones. Recently, only the V25 Pro had a curved screen, while the vanilla V25 and V25e had flat screens. This year we think the V27 and V27 Pro will be curved.

The V27 Pro and vivo V27e were recently spotted on the Google Play Console, where both were noted to have 1080 x 2400 resolution displays (size unknown). The Pro model will use the Dimensity 8200, while the smartphone will get the Helio G99. A vanilla model, the vivo V27, was also spotted on Geekbench with an unknown MediaTek chipset (mali-G610 MC4 GPU suggests something between 1050 and 8000 with 3 and 6 GPU cores respectively).
The triple LED ring camera is completely different from the V25. It looks just like the other Vivo series, more on that later. First, check out this short teaser released by Vivo India:
The image confirms our suspicion that the vivo V27 series will be connected to the S16 phone, which will be launched in China at the end of 2022. The S16 16 also has the Dimensity 8200, but the other models use different chipsets (all 5G). Here are some images of the vivo S16 and S16 Pro (yes, both have curved screens):
As for when the V27 might be official, vivo has planned the launch of the Y100 on February 16 (Thursday), but we doubt it will be a general event. A previous leak only hinted that the launch would happen this month (well, the V27 and V27 Pro will launch in February, and the V27e will reportedly arrive later).
