Realme GT 3 Confirmed To Debut At MWC 2023, Will Feature 240W Fast Charging: Details
Realme is ready to expand its Realme GT 3 GT series of smartphones. The company has confirmed the launch date in a teaser. The Relame GT 2 successor will debut at Mobile World Congress 2023 on February 28th. While the company hasn't revealed any key specs other than 240W fast charging capability, speculation and leaks surrounding the phone's debut have been circulating for some time. Until now. The upcoming Realme GT 3 is expected to be the global variant of the Realme GT Neo 5 that was launched in China earlier this month.
In a poster posted on Twitter, Realme has confirmed that the Realme GT 3 will launch globally at MWC 2023 on February 28th. The event will take place in Barcelona. The poster also reveals that the phone will support 240W fast charging, just like the Realme GT Neo 5 launched earlier this month.
While the company has kept quiet about the specs and features of the upcoming phone, the phone is rumored to be the global variant of the Realme GT Neo 5 and hence expected to come with the same features as the newly released phone. . If so, the Realme GT 3 could be powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor with 16GB of RAM. In terms of software support, the phone will most likely run Android 13 out of the box.
The Realme GT Neo 5 also features a 1.5K flat AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. Thus, we can expect the same display to appear on the Realme GT3 as well. It is also speculated to feature a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 main sensor with support for Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and Turbo RAW.
The upcoming Realme GT 3 will follow the Realme GT 2 launched last year. Realme has had a busy 2023 so far. Apart from the Realme GT Neo 5, the Chinese manufacturer also released a special version of the Realme 10 Pro last week. Realme 10 Pro Coca-Cola Edition features Coca-Cola branding, customizable interface with redesigned app icons, bubble notifications, and classic Coca-Cola ringtone.
