TECNO Launches Budget Smartphone For Rs 15,499
TECNO Mobile, the Indian TRANSION brand, on Friday expanded its POVA range with the launch of its latest 5G-enabled smartphone, the TECNO POVA Neo 5G.
The smartphone packs a 6,000mAh battery, a 50-megapixel dual rear camera and a 6.8-inch FHD+ dot display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch rate. Available in two color options, Sprint Blue and Sapphire Black.
Commenting on the new 5G addition to the POVA range, Arijeet Thalapatra, CEO, TECNO Mobile India said: . 2021 with 5G devices “India is the third largest market for 5G smartphones in the world and there is a strong demand for 5G. To achieve this goal, we have created a complete 5G network portfolio in the POVA product line."

The device is equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 810 5G chipset and ARM Mali-G57 GPU for graphics. Apart from the 6000mAh battery, the smartphone also comes with an 18W USB Type-C charger for fast charging, which according to TECNO provides up to 4.5 hours of YouTube playback in just 19 minutes of charging.
It also has 7GB of customizable RAM that can increase program launch speed by up to 43% on average, and 128GB of internal storage with a dedicated slot to expand up to 1TB. The 50MP camera setup also has Super Night Mode, Portrait Mode, Bokeh Video, 2K Video Mode and more. to present
Pre-orders for the POVA Neo 5G, priced at Rs 15,499, begin on Friday at most retailers. The sale starts from September 26.
