New Leak Suggests OPPO's Upcoming Phone Is A Slightly Upgraded Find N2 Flip

A render of what the OPPO Find N3 Flip might look like has recently surfaced, giving us a first taste of what the upcoming smartphone might look like.

This information comes from 91Mobile who says that the image is based on an "Early EVT (Engineering Validation Test)" prototype. The final product may be completely different, so take anything spilled with a grain of salt. That said, it seems that OPPO is not too interested in redesigning the Find N2 Flip , as the new device has many similarities with the previous model. The smartphone is said to feature the former's "foldable design and large outdoor display." The most notable difference this time is the presence of a third camera lens.

According to 91mobiles, the OPPO Find N3 Flip will have the same camera system as the China-exclusive OPPO Ren 10 Pro, although it looks very different. Leading the pack is a 50MP Sony IMX890 lens with f/1.8 aperture and OIS, or optical image stabilization. This will allow you to move the camera around with your N3 Flip for sharp photos. The unique feature of the N3 Flip is its 32-megapixel telephoto lens, which helps capture perfect close-ups. Third, it's an 8MP wide-angle lens, just like the N2 Flip.

As for the rest of the leak, the report claims that the OPPO Find N3 Flip will have a "similar set of specifications" to the Find N2 Flip.

The main display will be a 6.8-inch Full HD Plus display (1920 x 1280 pixel resolution) with a 120 Hz refresh rate. The smaller front display is a 3.26-inch AMOLED panel with a 17:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the 91Mobile will feature a MediaTek Dimension 9000 chipset, 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. And the 4300mAh battery supports 44W fast wired charging.

Other than these discussions, there is nothing else to filter. 91mobiles expects the OPPO Find N3 Flip to launch in early December at a price of Rs 75,490. Once converted, it costs around £720 / AU$1,400. In comparison, you can buy the Find N2 Flip on Amazon for £670, so that model will be more expensive.

OPPO doesn't operate in the US, so it's unlikely that the Find N3 Flip will appear there. If you're looking for something international, be sure to check out TechRadar's list of the best foldable phones of 2023.
