Android 14 Beta 1 is now available for OPPO Find N2 Flip. The company announced the beta program on Wednesday night to coincide with the announcement of Android 14 Beta 2 at Google's I/O conference. OnePlus also opened an Android 14 beta testing program for the OnePlus 11 on the same day.

Like the OnePlus 11, Android 14 Beta 1 for OPPO Find N2 Flip is aimed at developers and power users. The company wanted to give developers early access to new versions of Android so they could test their apps and build new firmware for their first ink pads. While we'd love to hear feedback and bug reports, that's not the main goal of the beta program. OPPO is aware of some of the issues and is working behind the scenes to fix them.

However, people using OPPO Find N2 Flip as a daily driver should avoid this beta. Firstly, Android 14 Beta 1 is still in the early stages of development and may be very unstable. You may not be able to use some features. Even worse, these updates can brick your phone and render it useless forever. "We do not recommend flashing this ROM if you have little or no software development experience, plan to use the device as a daily driver, or have no experience flashing custom ROMs," OPPO warns. "Be 100% confident in what you do."

If you want to install this unstable build of Android 14 on your OPPO Find N2 Flip, the process is quite simple. But unfortunately, its availability is limited for users in India, Malaysia, and Thailand. On its official website, the company has only released update packages for the three markets. If you live in one of these countries, you can download the relevant update package from here and follow the instructions on the same page to install Android 14 Beta 1 on your OPPO Find N2 Flip.

Please note that this beta update will delete everything stored on your phone. So don't forget to back up your important data and files. Minimum battery level of 30% and 4GB storage is required before installation. As previously mentioned, this build has screen overlays, AOD, fingerprint enrollment and more. There are several bugs including issues. If you find it too unstable for your needs, OPPO will let you roll back to Android 13. The restore package and instructions are available on the same page. Look forward to the Android 14 Beta 2 update for your perfect OPPO!
