Pune To Host Fourth Y20 Consultation Meeting
Anurag Singh Thakur, Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting and Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports will be the Chief Guest of the fourth Youth 20 (Y20) Consultative Meeting to be held on March 11 at Symposium International University (SIU ) in Laval. Wasleker, President of the Strategic Foresight Group, will be the keynote speaker.
Y20 is the official consultation forum for young people from G20 member countries to engage in dialogue with each other. The theme of the fourth Y20 consultation was "Building Peace and Reconciliation: The Dawn of an Era Without War: The Vision of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam," the Ministry of Youth and Sports said in a statement.
The six sub-themes of the workshop are 'politics of development' in India, conflict resolution, climate protection, gender-related conflicts and reforms, education, legal reforms needed for social change and future work. The speakers are international and national youth committed to gender equality, human rights advocates, representatives of UNESCO's SDG4 youth network on transforming education and building community through democratic leadership and legal reform to build peace. The audience will include junior delegates, competition winners, guests and students from India and G20 countries,” the statement said.
Indian and international students will organize a cultural program at SIU on March 10 to showcase Indian handicrafts, with activities by local artists, product displays by local NGOs and pilot villages.
