Techno India Group Hosts Second Edition Of Techno Olympica Knights
Kolkata . Techno India Group, the largest private education group in East India, is holding the second Techno Olympia Knights inter-school sports competition starting today 27th January 2023 . This mega sporting event involving more than 600 students from 43 schools in West Bengal ends on January 31, 2023 . Padma Shri Bula Chowdhury, Former Indian Swimming Champion, Chess Grandmaster Shri Dibiendu Barua and Techno India Group Co-Chair Prof. Manoshi Roychoudhury were present at the opening ceremony. The event began with the guests of honor lighting the lantern. The Techno-Olympia Knights Torch Rally took place on campus and marked the start of the sporting mega-event. Techno Olympian Prof. Manoshi Roychoudhury, Co-Chairman, Techno India Group , and started a few years ago and the second post-Covid edition was successfully launched with an opening ceremony.
Techno India Group strives to pay equal attention to the development of students' BODY, IMAGE and SOUL to fulfill its mission "Touch Lives, Change the World". The top three schools with medals are awarded trophies and cash prizes of 30,000, 20,000 and 10,000 rubles respectively . There are also awards for Best Cheerleading School and Fair Play.
The main goal of Techno Olympia Knights is to bring together the best young talents of the West Bengal competitive scene under one roof. In addition, it will also serve as a platform to showcase and promote a wide range of sporting events that rarely get a chance to be covered in our city. Techno India Group Co-Chair Prof. Manoshi Roychudhuri said that inter-school sport in the city has never been given a bigger platform than that presented by the Techno Olympic Knights.
Indoor soccer , softball, hockey, table tennis, badminton, long jump, discus, singles/relay, hurdles, freestyle, archery and chess are played as follows : boys, girls, junior and senior divisions at various locations including Techno India, Salt Lake Campus, EM 4/1, Salt Lake City, Sector V, Kolkata - 700091, Spuddy Badminton Academy, Kolkata, Ghore Bibi Lane, Behind Inoxmi Swab. , Kadapara, Phool Bagan, Kankurgachi, Kolkata - 700054 and Sports Authority of India (SAI) Complex, Maine Road Municipality, Block Los Angeles Sector III, Bidhannagar, Kolkata - 700098.
