The most obvious difference between the two is the size of the clamshell display, so we'll start with that, as that's what Oppo touts as one of the main reasons to choose the Find N2 Flip over the Z Flip. The Find N2 Flip's 3.26-inch AMOLED display is vertical and takes up almost the entire left side of the closed phone, while the Z Flip 4's 1.9-inch display is horizontal and takes up much more space. telephone telephone

Despite the difference in size, the functionality is basically the same. Neither screen is "phone-like," so don't expect to see familiar Android menus or launch apps. Widgets work on both screens, such as the timer, calendar view, weather and notification view. Find N2 Flip's large screen size makes it easy to see, and widgets are formatted for size so buttons are easier to find and click. There's also a lot more space, so you'll see more of your posts.

The white background and bright colors of Find N2 Flip widgets make them more attractive and easier to see from the outside. The Z Flip 4's black background and simple design are much less suitable for viewing in bright sunlight or from various angles. Even when no apps or Android are running, the Find N2 Flip skin display has a familiar always-on look with notification icons below the weather display. Z Flip 4 shows the time, date, battery level and an orange dot when new messages are available.

You can also set various wallpapers on the Find N2 Flip cover screen, including customizable interactive pets. While they're not quite as interactive as Oppo claims, they're nice and well-designed, and definitely add more character to the phone than the Z Flip 4. However, you can install wallpapers and styles on your Samsung phone to add to the look. fit. smartphone. watch on Galaxy Watch 5, it's fun!

The large screen on the Oppo Find N2 Flip basically offers the same functionality as the smaller screen on the Z Flip 4, but it's much easier to see and interact with and displays more information, which makes it a big plus. It doesn't seem to be used, but it's still the best general approach.

Another feature of the protective screen is that it can be used as a viewfinder for the camera. Size plays a role here, but are there other advantages? Open the Z Flip 4 camera app and in the top right corner of the screen there is a button to activate the overlay screen. The preview covers the entire screen, but due to its size it only shows the center of the viewport. But tapping the preview screen switches to a full, albeit small, preview. To take a selfie like this, you can press the volume key or point your palm at the camera to activate the shutter.

The Galaxy Z Flip 4's preview screen does the trick, but don't expect to see much while using it. This makes it easy to use the top rear camera to take selfies, but if you're taking a picture of someone else, you'll need to be very close to check their facial expressions. In addition, the Z Flip 4 can stand on its own as a tripod alternative, and the main screen is split into two parts, with a viewfinder at the top and controls at the bottom. This is a useful feature that the Find N2 Flip also uses.

Open the Find N2 Flip camera and in the upper left corner you will find a button to activate the screen saver. It works just like the Z Flip 4, right down to the shutter gesture to activate it. The difference is that you can see a lot more, especially when the phone is in portrait orientation. A large screen makes switching faster and other people can also see the screen from a greater distance. Both screens do the same thing, but again, the larger size of the Find N2 Flip gives it the edge.

Find N2 Flip vs. Galaxy Z Flip 4: Multitasking

What multitasking capabilities do phones offer? With the Oppo Find N2 Flip, you can run two apps simultaneously, one occupying the top half of the screen and one below it. Apps are also displayed in landscape orientation. A rather awkward three-finger gesture activates split-screen mode, and the app prompts you to open a second app.

Alternatively, you can use the three-dot menu in the recent apps view or Oppo's context menu next to the home screen. Programs selected from the context menu automatically open in a floating window, giving you a little more flexibility. Samsung also uses the context menu in a similar way, but when you drag an app to the home screen, you can select another app from the menu that appears at the top of the screen.

Tap on an app and it will open full screen, unlike the Find N2 Flip. Enter the Samsung Labs menu and you can try out different screen layouts, including the Flex Mode panel, which works the same way as top display mode, just with different apps at the top and bottom of the screen.

Apps can be opened as a floating window by clicking the icon below the recent apps view. Interestingly, when you swipe up to close them, the icon remains "floating" on the screen, ready to be used again. This is a useful feature, for example when using Chrome and replying to a message.

Since both offer similar split-screen features, it all comes down to ease of use, and the Galaxy Z Flip 4 has a slight edge in terms of versatility. The way split screen apps and floating windows are enabled and handled is also more logical. He takes the win, but there isn't much between them.

The Oppo Find N2 Flip is slightly larger than the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and slightly heavier, but not so much that one is easier to live with than the other. The Z Flip 4's screen isn't as wide as the Find N2 Flip's, which is a downside. The Find N2 Flip's 21:9 aspect ratio makes it look more "normal" when open, and if you're using a phone without a case, it will take less (if any) time to adjust. The Z Flip 4 takes some getting used to, but it never feels compromised.

Opening and closing the Galaxy Z Flip 4 is more convenient. The heel has a lot more power than the Find N2 Flip, which requires more effort, but in a good way. It appears to be very solidly built and will absolutely hold up in any lying position you place it in. to hold with the fingertips.

The Find N2 Flip's hinge offers less resistance, and while it never closes unexpectedly when opened, it has a spring that makes it less precise than the Z Flip 4 and less sharp. The movement isn't very smooth either, and you can feel a kind of mechanical movement when you open and close the phone, which Samsung's hinge doesn't. A curved frame has less pull and opening requires more precision in grip and hold.

I find the side fingerprint sensor on the Z Flip 4 easier to find than on the Find N2 Flip, which also doesn't activate as quickly. The Galaxy Z Flip 4 looks like a more mature design, which isn't surprising since it's Samsung's fourth attempt, while the Find N2 Flip is Oppo's first. The Find N2 Flip is not uncomfortable to use, but life is easier with the Z Flip 4.

Find Galaxy Z Flip 4's N2 Flip vs Camera

There isn't much choice between the main cameras. The Galaxy Z Flip 4 shows more saturation than the Find N2 Flip, but the Samsung phone's wide-angle camera is significantly better. The Find N2 Flip's wide-angle photos have poor color accuracy and little detail, while the Z Flip 4's wide-angle camera is bright and cheerful. The Find N2 Flip has a 2x optical zoom mode, which is not available on the Z Flip 4.

The camera isn't superstar either, and your choice will depend on whether you value optical zoom more than a decent wide-angle camera. Another aspect you might be interested in is the selfie mode. The Find N2 Flip's large screen protector makes it much easier to take selfies with the rear camera, and the colors and details are better than the Z Flip 4, which often results in very atmospheric rear camera selfies.

We'd call it a tie, as both sides have clear pros and cons, and neither side stands out as having much better camera quality than the other. If you want to take general photos mainly with the main camera, both are fine for you.

Find N2 Flip vs. Galaxy Z Flip 4: battery and charging

If the camera department was hard to judge, the battery and charging department has a clear winner. The Oppo Find N2 Flip has been carefully designed to include a 4300mAh battery and 44W SuperVOOC fast charging. In our tests, it lasted about a day and a half of moderate use (no gaming) and lasted about 23 minutes. for the battery to reach 50% and 60 minutes for a full charge.

The Galaxy Z Flip 4 has a much smaller 3,700mAh battery that will last a day with moderate use, and it's hard to stretch much further. A charger is not included, but if you use a compatible 25W charger, it will take about 75 minutes to fully charge and about 30 minutes to reach 50%. However, the Z Flip 4 has 10W wireless charging and reverse charging, unlike the Find N2 Flip.

It's a shame that the Find N2 Flip doesn't have wireless charging, especially for a phone this expensive. However, fast battery charging comes at a real cost, and the Find N2 Flip's extended battery life makes it a winner here.

It's important to know that the Oppo Find N2 Flip isn't for sale in the US, but the Galaxy Z Flip 4 is widely available. This makes it an obvious choice if you can't afford an Oppo phone. However, if you live in the UK, the Find N2 Flip is available online and from various stores and couriers, so it's just as easy to find as the Z Flip 4. You can import the Find N2 Flip into the US. he wants it, but expects to pay more if it happens.

The Galaxy Z Flip 4 starts at $1,000 or £1,000, while the Oppo Find N2 Flip costs £850, which is around $1,025. This makes it significantly cheaper than a Samsung phone in the UK and makes it an extremely attractive buy.

The Oppo Find N2 Flip took four of our categories and the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 took two, with a tie between them. This makes the Oppo Find N2 Flip a winner, but with a few caveats. If you can't afford the Find N2 Flip, the Galaxy Z Flip 4 is still a good choice, and Samsung's phone wins in every major hinge and design category, which only highlights how well-designed it is.

There's good news on the software update front, as the Oppo will match Samsung's four years of major Android updates and five years of security updates. The Galaxy Z Flip 4 has a higher IP rating, so it is more effective at resisting water than the Oppo phone.

However, all this does not stop the Find N2 Flip. Aggressive price, long battery life and excellent protective screen guarantee that it really surpasses Z Flip 4 in all areas, and. If you can buy it, it's worth it.
