Melodys Enemy Releases ‘Plastic EP With Remixes From The Archer + Cocodrills
Electronic music producer and Enemy DJ Melody aka Andy Haeffele releases his latest EP, Plastic , through their label There Is A Light Records. Plastic includes the original version of Melody's Enemy, as well as individual remixes by label founder The Archer and producer Cocodrills.
Talking about the EP, Melody's Enemy shared; "Plastic" is social commentary and my honest attempt to piss everyone off with raving (ha!). I wrote this as a rant against all the stupid nonsense I see around me and as a way to condemn a series of events here in the UK and US that have me going “WTF?!”
With over 43,000 monthly listeners on Spotify, The Archer, owner of There Is A Light Records label, delivers a hypnotic and immersive techno style. Archer's remix of "Plastic" reveals how the house track takes on a whole new dynamic and boldness when rediscovered.
Archers kick off 2021 with the release of their debut EP, Lonely Dream , which blurs the lines between disco, deep house and techno. The sound combines a retro touch with the latest innovation.
Spanning three tracks, the EP kicks off with Melody's Enemy's Edition, which begins with a hard beat composed of purring drums and a rumbling bassline. His baritone voice delivers the lyrics with a deep, infectious tone, while sultry techno beats resonate beneath swirling, piercing leitmotifs.
"The Archer Remix" features a more measured, darker beat with extended drumming. The buzzing and trembling notes contain melodies with mysterious textures and fiery surfaces. As the melody expands and resonates, the overtones explode with condensed energy.
"The Cocodrills Remix" features a thunderous, booming beat, while industrial-flavored accents give the amp boom and ringing. Colored with latent foreboding, Cocodrills' version displays real tension.
With Plastic , Melody's Enemy, The Archer and Cocodrll show their creative talents, delivering exciting sound compositions.
