Minecraft Players Build Incredible Desert Pyramid
Minecraft players have built an incredible pyramid temple complex in the desert and have shared incredible time-lapse footage of the monument's construction.
A group of Minecraft gamers have built an impressive in-game hierarchy and shared a time-lapse video showing the process. While this isn't the only Minecraft player with unique architecture, it is a very cool visualization of cubic geometry.
Created by Markus "Notch" Persson and currently developed by Swedish studio Mojang, Minecraft is one of the most popular video games in the world. The game gives players freedom in a procedurally generated world to build or explore as they see fit. This freedom allows Minecraft players to create amazing structures and cool contraptions. Mojang's open game is the highest-grossing game of all time and is the fourth most-played game of 2021 with over 738 million users.
The BuildBros Minecraft YouTube channel recently posted a short video which repeatedly shows them building a giant pyramid complex in the desert. The channel also uploads snippets of videos to Reddit. The latter features a central pyramid building and is very popular with Minecraft fans on the platform.
BuildBros created the pyramid using the Minecraft mod Dokucraft Light, which adds more realistic textures to the game. The pyramid is surrounded by high walls and a decorative moat, and its outer shell is decorated with a lattice pattern. The interior of the cave is lit by lanterns and features the mighty Nether Gate with many small doors leading into it. However, it's the extended creation time that makes the video worth watching, as one Reddit user compared it to a movie player when creating Wonders in Civilization 6 .
The full video opens with a preview of the finished structure, followed by a time limit for cleaning and leveling the site. The partially raised mound serves as the corner of the outer walls, the first section they built, and features an ornamental waterfall cascading into a shallow ditch. Once the wall is complete, BuildBros lays the foundation for the pyramid and begins building its outer shell. While real-world pyramids are mostly filled with a few small internal chambers, Minecraft allows YouTubers to create empty structures.
After closing the lid and making a decorative cage, they started building and filling in another moat around the pyramid and decorated it with tiles and water lilies. Finally, they completed the exterior with a covered entrance and a walkway that led to a small wooden pier over the river. Recent Minecraft players have also been circling trees, cacti and other plants.
The final phase concerns the filling of the interior, starting from the large pedestal where the main portal is located. So they built a big rear camera all around it. That hides how empty the interior is, though the camera is still large and impressive. Overall, this is a good example of Minecraft building.
