Huawei FreeBuds 5i have arrived in Europe.
These headphones are very affordable considering what they offer. They're technically mid-range headphones, but they have some great specs and great sound output.
Those in the UK can pick it up from January 16 for £89.99. However, they can be pre-ordered. If you decide to pre-order, you can get a £10 off coupon for the Huawei Store.
Available in Huawei Store. Available at Amazon, Argos and Curries from early February. Available in Ceramic White, Isles Blue and Nebula Black.
Other European markets may also launch these headphones soon. Hopefully we'll see them across Europe, as is the case with the FreeBuds 4 and FreeBuds Pro 2.
Huawei FreeBuds 5i is very compact. They come in the form of eggs, which is actually quite simple. The headphones themselves are also light and the stems aren't particularly long.
Several levels of ANC are available and the same is true for EQ mode.
These headphones offer active noise cancellation and multiple ANC and EQ modes. Dual device connections are also available to seamlessly switch between devices.
These headphones sound great and come with Hi-Res Audio Wireless certification (the .LDAC HD audio codec is included and multi-EQ effects are part of the package).
In addition, these headphones are certified for waterproof IP54. You can easily take it to the gym or get caught in the rain and not worry.
As we found out in the test, the battery life is also very good. The Huawei FreeBuds 5i may not be Huawei's most powerful true wireless earbuds, but they're an excellent mid-range offering.
