YouTube Announces Top Trending Videos Of 2022
YouTube has released its most popular videos of the year.
It represents an element of American pop culture where everyone can do whatever they want.

Mr. Best has been named YouTube Creator of the Year for the third year in a row.
In fourth place is the Super Bowl Halftime Show with Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige and Kendrick Lamar.
Millennials called it the greatest show of all time, and it has amassed 143 million views on YouTube.
A creator named Dream made gameplay videos for Minecraft fans.
"Hi, this is my first time talking on camera," said Dream. This clip ranked third with 47 million views.
No. 2 is Will Smith's embarrassing slap in the face at the Oscars when he went on stage and slapped Chris Rock, with 103 million views.
At the top of the list is So Long Nerds, a farewell message from a Minecraft videographer who died of cancer at the age of 23.
"Hello everyone, Technoblade, if you're watching this, I'm dead," the creator said in the video. "If I had 100 lives left, I would choose to be a technoblade again because those were the happiest years of my life."
Ranking is not a simple measure.
Madeleine Buxton, YouTube's head of culture and trends, says that a lot goes into determining the number of views of the year's most popular videos.
Commitment and equity are also factors.
"There's no formula, and I think that's the most exciting thing today," Buxton said. "It's easier than ever to hack."
