Vivo Y02 Launched With 5000mAh Battery, Costs Under Rs 8,000
Vivo recently launched the world's first Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 smartphone, the X90 Pro+, and while that phone is at the top end of the price range, Vivo's latest phone is at the other end. The new Vivo Y02 is an entry-level phone launched in Indonesia. It has modest features and an attractive design, but you can't buy it in India yet. Vivo hasn't released any news about the handset's availability outside of Indonesia.
The new Vivo Y02 is the successor to the Y01 which was launched earlier this year. In less than a year, the Y02's successor will bring many improvements over the Y01. However, it is less powerful than the Vivo Y02 mobile phone which was released in August this year.

Vivo Y02 has been launched in Indonesia with a price tag of IDR 1,499,000. This is about 7800 rubles. This phone comes in Orchid Blue and Cosmic Gray colors.
Vivo Y02 specifications
The Vivo Y02 features a 6.51-inch dual-SIM IPS LCD display with a waterdrop notch at the top. The screen resolution is 720 x 1600 pixels and the aspect ratio is 20:9. There is a 5MP camera on the front and an 8MP camera with LED flash on the circular camera island on the back. The phone is based on an octa-core processor, the name of which has not yet been officially listed. However, earlier rumors suggest that the Vivo Y02 will use the four-year-old MediaTek Helio P22 chipset.
The Vivo Y02 has 2GB or 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, but if you need more, you can add a microSD card to expand the storage. The phone is powered by a 5000mAh battery that supports 10W charging via a micro USB 2.0 port. Vivo Y02 runs Android 12 (Go edition) which means you get Go apps like Gmail Go, YouTube Go and Maps Go. For connectivity, this phone supports 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS and 3.5mm jack. The phone does not have a fingerprint scanner, but it does have face unlock.
