Giant Swan Return With First New Music In Nearly Two Years, Drop Techno Banger 'RRR+1'
Giant Swan are back with their first new music in nearly two years.
"RRR+1" is a four-step techno banger that precedes their five-track mini album "Fantasy Food" in January 2023.
The track features heavy, pounding drums, throbbing vocal samples, booming melodies, and a solid introduction to the highly-anticipated EP.

"We're definitely going to write music that we feel is more 'focused,'" he explains of the upcoming album. "I guess the tracks sound like they're seamless in that way, definitely with a big 'techno' sensibility of structure and timbre."
"Having played in some DJ sets, I like the idea that they're definitely more functional than some of the previous releases, but they're not as consistent. I think we're doing everything we can to our dance music vision. And this EP is our most direct dance floor guide yet.
The band cited the sounds as a fun nod to "fantasy food": "This record has the best vocal handling to date." Some tracks feature my voice, others we try harder. Blessing' is probably the first time we've decided not to use vocals in a more practical way. There is always a human element in our approach to music. It's a shame, but we could use the versatility of his voice in different ways on a record.

The band catered to both electronica folk and fans of punk and hardcore rock-oriented sounds, touring tirelessly in support of The-Horrors and IDLES before the outbreak, playing at the likes of Berghain and Glastonbury. .
They are currently playing many live concerts. Until March, they will perform in London, Istanbul, Belfast, Bristol and Dublin, followed by concerts in Madrid, Glasgow and Lisbon.
