The Oppo Find X7 Has Produced The Best Photographs I Have Seen From A Phone!
OPPO just released its first phone with a dual periscope camera, setting a new standard in mobile photography.
Oppo's latest flagship camera phone, the Find X7 Ultra, was launched in China yesterday (January 8) and is set to be one of the best camera phones for photography. The new Android phone features four 50-megapixel rear cameras, each with a different optical zoom, meaning the four-camera setup offers a constant zoom of 14mm to 270mm "without degradation in image quality."
The Find X7 Ultra features a dual periscope camera, making it the first smartphone to offer this feature. It retains the Find X6 Pro's 3x 65mm lens with a fast f/2.6 aperture. The second periscope camera is a 135 mm telephoto lens with 6x zoom, integrated OIS function and a focusing distance of at least 35 cm.
The other two cameras consist of a single wide-angle camera with a 1-inch second-generation Sony multi-line sensor, an f/1.8 aperture, optical image stabilization and an equivalent 14mm ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2 impressive close focusing distance. cm. !
Another reason to be excited about this camera is that Oppo continues to work with Hasselblad and the sample images provided are perhaps some of the best I've ever seen captured on a phone. Of course, the right lighting conditions, the right photographer and the right subject, but the look and depth of field of the camera are more like a medium format camera than a camera phone.
The 65mm and 135mm focal lengths are ideal for portrait photography and offer better subject compression and depth of field. Thanks to improved ISO sensitivity, larger sensors and a larger aperture, it is now easier to take portraits in low light conditions, they say.
Smart Capture also allows you to focus on and easily identify people and animals. The cameras render bokeh and out-of-focus areas naturally, without the weird blur that often occurs in portrait mode on other phones.
Aside from the natural blurring of the background, I think another reason why swatches stand out is the tones. I've always appreciated Hasselblad's color technology and it seems to have been replicated in Oppo cameras. Skin tones appear natural and the depth of color is exceptional.
The Find X7 Ultra further optimizes Hasselblad's flagship mode. This is a professional shooting mode that allows you to optimize settings like a mirrorless camera and control RAW shooting with RAW MAX.
The Find X7 Ultra is now available in China and unfortunately there is no news or launch planned for the US or Europe. I hope the situation changes from now on, or maybe Oppo is working on another camera for these regions that includes the same camera technology that I will be the first to test.
