Huawei Strengthens Commitment To Europe For Digital Transformation And Sustainability At HUAWEI CONNECT 2023

Today, Huawei opened its annual flagship event HUAWEI CONNECT 2023 in Paris. Thousands of guests including industry leaders, technical experts and partners from around the world came together to explore how digital and smart technologies can accelerate the EU's green and digital transformation.

Connecting everything with high-speed networks is the key to digital transformation. This is especially true in industrial environments where high-performance networks support the distribution, analysis, and computation of large volumes of data in real time. Huawei's network solutions support continuous, intelligent and lossless ultra-broadband connectivity for various industrial environments.

For example, Huawei worked with its partners to build the East-West Gateway (EWG) intermodal terminal in Hungary, Europe's first 5G-enabled logistics terminal. With ultra-high bandwidth, ultra-low latency and high reliability, 5G will help enable fully automated and remotely controlled overhead cranes for modern rail logistics. The terminal provides a safer, better working environment and works 20% more efficiently.

When it all comes together, the cloud is the powerhouse behind the algorithms and massive computing power required to help industries become smarter.
