TECNO POVA 5 Pro Is Here With Back Lights That Support Ninecolor RGB

TL; DR

  • TECNO POVA 5 Pro was released today.
  • The phone has a backlight similar to the Nothing Phone, but supports nine RGB colors.
  • TECNO also launched the Spark 10 Pro Magic Magenta Edition today.

When it comes to backlit phones, don't think of a company at first. But now other brands are joining in too. Today we have a new phone from TECNO that has some nice touches that make it look good.

TECNO POVA 5 Pro is available in two colors: Dark Illusion and Silver Fantasy, which you can see in the photo at the beginning of this article. In any case, a row of thin lights arranged in a triangle adorns the back of the phone, giving it a distinctive touch. Unlike Blank Phone, these lights support nine-color RGB, allowing you to really stand out from the crowd.

Tecno is positioning this new POVA phone as a gaming and entertainment device. It has a large 6.78-inch display with 1080p resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate. It packs a massive 5000mAh battery to power your gaming sessions (and the aforementioned light, of course). If you run out of power, you can get up to 68W of wired charging, which TECNO says is fast enough to go from zero to max in about 45 minutes.

The MediaTek Dimensity 6080 powers the POVA 5 Pro. It's definitely a mid-range chipset, so don't expect too much of the amazing performance that a title like Genshin Impact demands. However, basic smartphone tasks and an average gaming session should be handled without any problems. The SoC is equipped with 128 GB or 256 GB of internal storage and 8 GB of RAM.

TECNO has not yet announced the price of the POVA 5 Pro, only letting us know that it will be available in Southeast Asia, South Asia, Middle East and Latin America markets. Stay tuned as the company will likely be announcing more information soon.

POVA 5 Pro is not the only TECNO phone released today. The Spark 10 Pro Magic Magenta Edition was also announced. The name "Magic" refers to the synthetic leather back, which changes color from pink to green in certain lighting conditions.
