Skyline Festival Brings Techno And House Music Together In Los Angeles

After its first event in February 2022 on Skylight Row in downtown Los Angeles, Insomniac Events Techno Festival and Skyline Techno Festival created a buzz in the dance festival circuits.

This year, the festival will move to its new home at the Los Angeles Fairgrounds from Saturday, February 25th to Sunday, February 26th. The event is organized by techno brand Insomniac Factory 93 and Music House Day Trip, who have teamed up to present the best shows in both genres. The lineup includes collections from Dom Dolla, Meduza, Eli & Fur, Peggy Gou, Michael Bibi, Anotr, and more, which will be released on February 25, and will be headlined by Diplo & Joshua, Charlotte De Wit, Joseph Capriati, and Stella Bossi. short. 26.

There were also several shows on both days, including Ellen Alien B2B Sarah Landry, J. Vora B2B Mian, Shiba San B2B Salardo, and Skream B2B Dennis Ferrer.

After selling out its first event last year with more than 7,000 fans in attendance, Insomniac took all the comments from fans, including attendees asking for more space to dance and enjoy the show. New digs at Exposition Park will provide plenty of additional space and bring the event closer to the city.

“We were looking for a downtown location that would fit the Skyline theme and we found Expo Park,” Megan Dechen, Insomniac's head of talent and festivals, said in a recent phone interview. "We went there with the team and fell in love with the space. The fact that there are trees and grass makes it more comfortable for everyone. Even the performance this year will be better because the hall is bigger. So we thought it was just a perfect setup."

For Deschen, being so close to the Memorial Coliseum in Los Angeles felt like "going back to [Insomniac's] roots," given that the company's famous EDC (Electric Daisy Carnival) was held at the site from 2007 to 2010 before moving to Las Vegas. .
