It looks like Xiaomi's sister brand Redmi will soon launch its own tablet. This was confirmed by the parent company itself, which uploaded a photo of the product to Xiaomi Kuwait's Instagram account. Although the name of the device has not yet been revealed, it is believed to be the Redmi Pad.

It now has a larger tablet with a flat bezel and a single camera setup on the back So far, rumors suggest the Remy Pad will come in Mint Green (as per leaked image), Graphite Gray and Silver Moonlight.

Technically, unofficial sources indicate that the next tablet will have an 11.2-inch LCD screen with 2K resolution and could also have four speakers. Meanwhile, under its hood is the mid-range MediaTek MT8781 chipset, which could be a variant of the chipmaker's Helio G99 processor. It is said to have 3GB or 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. In terms of connectivity, the Redmi Pad will be offered in two variants: a Wi-Fi model and a Wi-Fi + 4G LTE variant.

Also, it may have an Android 12-based MIUI Pad 13 platform and a decently sized 7,800mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging support. On the imaging front, tipsters say that the tablet's single rear camera has an 8MP sensor. However, there is no information about its front camera, but it's pretty safe to assume that the device comes with one.

When will we see the new tablet, recent reports suggest that Xiaomi will officially launch the Redmi Pad in October. As the next product is expected to be launched under Xiaomi's budget subsidiary and at the mid-range level, it is likely to come at an affordable price.
